Ichetucknee Springs Tubing Adventure

Escape the summer heat with a relaxing float down the crystal-clear Ichetucknee River! This is a classic Florida tubing adventure through one of the state's most beautiful spring-fed rivers.

What to Expect

We'll meet at the South Entrance of Ichetucknee Springs State Park, rent tubes from the General Store, and hop on the tram to Dampier's Landing. From there, we'll float for about 45 minutes to an hour through pristine water surrounded by lush forest canopy. The water stays a refreshing 72°F year-round!

• Difficulty: Easy — just sit back and float
• Float time: ~45 min to 1 hour
• Duration: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (includes setup, shuttle, lunch break)

What to Bring

• Swimsuit and water shoes
• Sunscreen (reef-safe preferred)
• Waterproof phone case
• Reusable water bottle (no disposable plastics allowed)
• Towel and dry clothes for after
• Cash/card for tube rental and tram ($7.50 tram fee)

What NOT to Bring

• Glass containers, coolers, food on the river
• Disposable plastics (Ziplocs, plastic bottles)
• Styrofoam floats or tubes over 60"

Rentals: Tubes and life vests available at the South Entrance General Store. Tube rentals close at 3:30 PM.

Location: Ichetucknee Springs State Park (South Entrance), 12087 SW US Hwy 27, Fort White, FL 32038. $6 per vehicle entry fee.

Weather policy: We'll go rain or shine. In case of lightning, the park closes the river — we'll reschedule.
